GM CEO drives to D.C.

The chief executive officer of General Motors Corp. drove to Washington on Wednesday instead of flying in a private jet as he had two weeks earlier, the AP is reporting.

Rick Wagoner actually drove part of the way from Detroit to the District of Columbia in a convoy of GM-made hybrids.

It was a doubly surprising gesture because nobody knew that GM made hybrids.
