The Obamas are going to celebrate Christmas in Barack Obama‘s home state of Hawaii, the Atlantic is reporting.

There’s nothing like celebrating Christmas on a beach in 80-degree weather with palm trees swaying. I’m from South Florida, so I know of what I speak.

Santa usually arrives wearing Bermuda shorts and riding a boogie board pulled by eight dolphins. The fake snow on the fake Christmas trees melts slowly by the fake wood-burning fireplaces. Carolers ask for a cold brew as they stumble from house to house. And nobody really knows what to do with the Christmas stockings. Do we hang them on wall? Do put them under the tree?
