Tim McGraw not running for governor now

Country singer Tim McGraw says he’s not running for governor of Tennessee — yet, People is reporting.

It’s something he has his eye on but not for the immediate future.

He’s got a successful singing career, a burgeoning film career and a comfortable home. Why would he want to mess all that up with politics?

Besides, for a working musician and actor, “pay for play” is a good thing.
