Britons today have learned to cook, eat and enjoy Brussels sprouts, which previous generations had avoided energetically, the Daily Telegraph is reporting.
It wasn’t the cabbage-like shape or the taste of the vegetable that had put Brits off. It’s that the sprouts came from Brussels — Belgium! You’ve got to keep a close eye on those Belgians. You never know what they might try to put over on you.
