Broadway shows face the ax because of the economy

As many as 15 Broadway shows face early closures because the sinking economy has cut theater-goers ability to buy tickets, the Telegraph is reporting.

One of the shows in danger of closing is Equus, the psychological drama starring a sometimes naked David Ratcliffe of the “Harry Potter” movies.

However, the economic downturn might not be responsible for the play’s shrinking audience. Many theater-goers said they are tired of seeing Harry Potter’s “wand.”

The magic has worn off.
