The polls just keep getting worse for President Obama, who sank to new lows in two surveys released Thursday.
Mr. Obama’s disapproval rating hit 52 percent in a Quinnipiac University poll, up 5 percentage points from July. It was his highest disapproval rating ever in the survey.
SEE RELATED:And nearly two-thirds — 65 percent — of respondents to a CNN/ORD poll said they disapproved of the president’s handling of the economy. Sixty-six percent of respondents said they disapproved of Mr. Obama’s handling of the federal deficit, and 62 percent disapproved of his handling of unemployment.
All three categories were all-time lows for Mr. Obama in the CNN poll.
Seventy-six percent of respondents in the Quinnipiac poll said the economy is in a recession again.
