Eric Fehr could make his season debut Saturday after having sugery on both shoulders this offseason. There was some confusion earlier about whether or not he was going to Hershey for a conditioning stint.

UPDATE: Fehr said he hopes to play tomorrow night in Detroit. He was told he was going to Hershey yesterday, so after the game Fehr got in his car and headed north.

He got a call to turnaround when he was near Frederick on I-270, so he hopped off the highway and came back. He said he hopes to help out on the scoresheet — that would be a boon for the Caps, who have not recieved a goal from anyone not in the top six forwards.
