OK, here’s the deal with prospect lists: They’re everywhere and a lot of them are done by people who have never seen the guys play. This is especially true with hockey prospects since they are sprinkled throughout the world.
That said, here is In the Room’s best guess at what the Caps‘ prospect list should look like. Please note that some guys are higher on this list because of the likelihood they will play in the NHL and others are higher because of potential. In other words, it is an inexact science and someone who is too high or too low is probably there because of a gut feeling and nothing more.
