CORAL GABLES, Fla. —- Somehow, some way, Gary Williams‘ press conference yesterday came without a question about either Jerome Burney or Steve Goins.

Oh, the humanity.

Of course, now that Goins is back and dressing and occupying his usual spot on the bench, it’s really only worth asking about Burney.

Except that it really isn’t. He’s still in a boot, still anxious to get back.

And that’s about it.

Which stinks for both him (since he’s a hard-luck guy) and Maryland (which could really use him on defense against big teams like, say, Miami).
