Plus-minus: Maryland-Michigan

I was curious to see how the plus-minus numbers would actually look in a close game for Maryland.

And by close game, I mean one that had a close score.

Yes, the Vermont game was close. But at the end of overtime, the margin was 15 points —- and that was the smallest, one way or another, in the Terrapins‘ first six games.

Tonight’s 75-70 defeat of Michigan changed that.

Only two players didn’t land within four points of the final margin, and neither played half the game.

That’s a predictable trend when a rotation shrinks; a few someones are going to regress (or progress) toward the mean.
