When the Nats drafted Drew Storen with the No. 10 overall pick yesterday, we hinted that he might be quick to sign a contract.
Well, it took less than 24 hours. Storen has come to terms on a deal with the Nationals. A press conference is scheduled for 4:20 p.m., at which point the right-hander from Stanford is scheduled to appear.
SEE RELATED:We should have contract terms shortly, but I imagine it’s going to be close to the “slot” amount designated by MLB, which should fall somewhere in the range of $1.5 million and $1.75 million.
