Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin declined to say who she’d voted for just now when speaking with reporters outside her Wasilla polling place.
She said she hopes to wake up tomorrow as vice president elect with Republican John McCain as president elect.
She seemed emotional as she said outside the city hall where she launched her political career that no matter what happened she would always be “Sarah from Alaska.”
Standing next to husband Todd, Palin said she would keep her vote private because that right to privacy is one of the things “that’s what’s really cool about America.”
